Tell Us Your Story
Thank you for praying for our Steward Summit last week! It was a blessed and productive event. We came away excited by what God might do through the Steward Manifesto and with a plan for the launch of the document. More to come on that soon.
During our opening session I asked the participants to introduce themselves and to answer one question: “Tell us about one instance where your life was changed by moving from an owner to a steward.” What followed was a tapestry of testimonies that God had woven together through our mutual experiences of the freedom and joy this journey had produced in us. It blessed and encouraged all of us.
I would like to offer the same blessing for you, my readers.
So, here is my offer and my request. Send me a short, 3-5 sentence testimony of how your life has been impacted by your own steward journey. It may be freedom you found from a specific ownership attitude that was keeping you in bondage, or the release from stress and anxiety you discovered through a changed heart, or the shedding of an owner leader mindset that resulted in the joy of living and leading as a steward leader.
Whatever your story, please share it with me and I will in turn craft a blog post highlighting your experiences. I am happy to keep you story anonymous upon request.
Let’s encourage one another through our common testimonies of how faithful our God is when we surrender our lives to him, step off our thrones and follow him as stewards of his amazing grace.
