Humbled and Grateful
Announcing The Four Gifts of the King now available in bookstores across the country
Last week my wife Linda and I traveled to Nashville to attend the national launch of my novel, The Four Gifts of the King, through Morgan James Publishing. I am so grateful to so many people who helped make that day possible. As a result, as you are reading this blog today, November 13th, the book is now officially available through bookstores and online retailers across the country.
Honestly, I never thought this day would come. Call it a lack of faith or wavering confidence in my fiction writing ability, but after working on this project for over eight years it’s an amazing feeling to have arrived at this day. Last week in Nashville I was asked three questions regarding the purpose and hope for the book. I’ve attached a short video of my interview where I address those questions. I hope it gives you a glimpse into my heart for what God might do through this work.
Thank you for letting me share this part of my journey with you over these last two blogs. Last week I invited you to join me on this journey, and I am so grateful for so many of you who have responded. I look forward to ongoing dialogue around the themes that have come through this book, and I’ll be pulling them in from time to time to my blog posts over the coming months.
For now, thank you for your prayers and encouragement. As we seek to be faithful followers of Jesus in an increasingly hostile world, I am ever more convinced that we will do so to the extent that we live as free and joyful stewards of every area of life. Let us commit to journey together to that end, that all the world might experience the deep peace of the King.
